Salut!

I spent another week looking after my children, so I think I am just about ready for my holiday! No, I'm only joking of course - I've had great fun in the last fortnight spending so much time with Andrea and Carla. They are such great kids.

My only diversion has been one game of golf, but it is so frustrating to be in the month of June and still have rain, rather than the kind of summer heat we would all like to see. I mean, I love England but I love sunshine too; I think together they would be an awesome combination.

On Wednesday I recorded a session of Radio Ginola, which you will be able to hear next week. I responded to some emails and I also answered questions for my new Style section which is coming soon. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon and I drove to the studio in my friend's Porsche with the roof down. I have a sensible family car, so this made a nice, racy change.

Today I am off to Paris to record a commercial for Carte Noire coffee. I'm going to be shooting all weekend, and the finished product is due to be screened towards the end of the summer, so look out for it!

I can see that the football transfer merry-go-round has already begun. The big moves this week have included Francis Jeffers' move from Everton to Arsenal, and Frank Lampard hopping across London from West Ham to Chelsea.

But these are only the beginning and I am sure it will be a summer full of transfer activity as the top clubs look to improve their squads.
