Friday, July 6, Back
in Birmingham
Salut!
Well
I'm writing this from Birmingham, as I am back and have reported
for duty this morning at Aston Villa. It was a bit strange
after being by the sea for the past few weeks. But now it's
back to rigorous training, with our hopes and dreams of winning
cups and championships.
This morning I met two new teammates, Mustapha Hadji and Hassan
Kachloul, and they received a friendly welcome. For our first
day back, we've had a double training session - no messing
about as the Inter Toto is around the corner. I am sorry to
see that Julian Joachim has left us, but I wish him all the
best in his new club Coventry City.
I recently met up with my friend Neil Silver to draft an additional
chapter for my autobiography Le Magnifique, which is due to
be released in paperback this autumn. This week also saw the
launch of my 'Mission Possible' video on the Heathrow Express
from Paddington station. I haven't watched it on board of
a train yet, but I know the music is cool….
Just to let you know, next week I will be running a competition
on this site, so keep posted for the chance to win something.
Have
a nice, relaxing weekend.
A bientôt,
David Ginola.
