Taking a Break
Salut!
We are edging towards a very busy Christmas schedule and this
is often the time in the football campaign which sorts the
men from the boys as it were. The top of the premiership is
still wide open and any team who puts a run together in the
next few weeks can really put themselves in pole position.
I am sad to say that I shall be unavailable for part of that
programme but I hope that when I come back my team-mates have
ensured that Villa are still gunning for a place in Europe.
My red card against Leicester which forces me to miss some
games has been well documented, and I shall go to the FA to
plead my case in the hope that my punishment is a fair reflection.
Talking of taking a break, I enjoyed a coffee break this week
when I had a photo shoot for my latest advertising campaign
for Carte Noire. All I'll say is that it involved me losing
a few items of clothing, so make sure you look out for it!
This weekend sees us take on the Premiership's bottom club,
Ipswich Town. After their fantastic efforts last season it
is surprising to see them struggle this time around, but we
must avoid complacency and secure a result which gets us back
on track.
Have a good weekend!
A bientôt,
David Ginola.
