Salut!

Have you all seen my new look yet? I have shaved my head and I hope you like it! Well, not quite, but I have had a haircut, and my flowing locks are now quite a bit shorter.

I have had an interesting and varied week, apart from the haircut of course. I started off as a guest on the Wright and Bright radio show on Five Live with my old mates Ian and Mark. The banter with those two is always good, and their show is almost as good as Radio Ginola!

Unfortunately I am still feeling my calf strain, so I have been unable to train this week, I have just been having treatment, and will again have to sit out the weekend action, but the lads are climbing ever higher to safety which is great.

My other interesting adventure this week was to be a wine critic for the Observer magazine. I had to nominate six of my favourites, so watch out for it in a forthcoming edition.

Finally this week I want to dispel a rumour. I have no intention of hanging up my boots next season, I want to carry on playing, and I have already had one or two interesting offers to consider. Don't worry, as always you will be the first to know.
