Race
Salut!
The title race is reaching its climax and it's nice to be
in a position of safety. Now it's really a case of watching
the top three teams slug it out. It is still far from over
but it is hard to see either Manchester United or Liverpool
overtaking Arsenal - although it may come down to the last
game of the season, when ironically it will be Everton who
face the Gunners at Highbury.
I would like to congratulate my former club Newcastle on qualifying
for next season's Champions League. Nobody expected them to
muscle in with the big five this year. Bobby Robson has worked
wonders and they are flying.
Away from football, on Wednesday I attended the Trevor Brooking
Classic Celebrity - AM Golf Tournament at Dyrham Park which
is organised by the Celebrities Guild of Great Britain to
raise funds to buy equipment for people who are disabled,
and it was a delight to be on the winning team!
Further to my last entry, I would also like to plug the Tottenham
legends dinner which I will hopefully be attending, time permitting.
It takes place on Thursday 9 May at the London Marriott Hotel.

A bientôt,
David Ginola.
