Semi-final of the World Cup
Salut!
Yesterday I popped over to London to appear on Johnny Vaughan's
World Cup Extra. We had a good laugh, and Johnny told me the
most incredible true story about his bulldog Harvey crashing
his car! I was in stitches!
I can't believe the World Cup is nearly over. At least Wimbledon
has now started, although it is a shame that Goran Ivanisevic
is injured and can't defend his title. He is one of my favourite
tennis players - he has such charisma, and passion for his
game.
Today is the second semi-final of the World Cup and Brazil
face Turkey. It will probably be more exciting than the final,
as the German style of play is quite industrious, with their
goal keeper Oliver Kahn definitely being their best player.
Brazil are a great side to watch, but Turkey has some good
players also, so it should be full of action. It's difficult
to make a prediction, so I'll sit on the fence on this one.
I'll be out of reach until next week, so enjoy the rest of
the games and have a good weekend.
A bientôt,
David Ginola.
