Salut!

The Premiership race is hotting up nicely, and I am enjoying keeping tabs on it from my base in the South of France. Many of you saw me on Sky TV's Soccer Saturday a couple of weeks ago when I watched Liverpool versus my old club Spurs, and I may be back in the studios in the near future so keep your eyes on the box!

Next week is an international week, and I hear the England players and their wives are gathering for a couple of days at a luxury health resort. There has been lots of uncertainty on the international front. Sven Goran Eriksson's job as England coach was in doubt after all the goings on at the FA, and the Republic of Ireland are looking for a new boss after the departure of Mick McCarthy - and no, I haven't applied!

On a personal note I have finally bought myself a lovely new toy - a yacht. I have wanted one for ages, and I am pleased to have acquired one at last. I've got my pilot's license so I am sure I shall have fun.
